Spencer Striker, PhD
Associate Professor of Digital Media Design at Northwestern Qatar. Striker’s work centers on interaction design, mobile media, digital media and learning, video games, and entrepreneurship. Striker holds a Ph.D. in Digital Media from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, a Master’s in New Media Production from Indiana University at Bloomington, and undergraduate degrees in Radio-TV-Film (B.S.) and History (B.A.) from the University of Texas at Austin.
Arya Mainali
Arya Mainali is the production manager for Qatar in Quotes. She is a third year student at Northwestern University in Qatar, majoring in Media Industries and Technology and pursuing a certificate in Strategic Communication. When she is not finding new forms of audio storytelling to listen to, Arya likes to read, talk, and stare out of the window.
Natasha Das
Natasha Das is in charge of the Web Design & Programming for both podcasts, “Qandid Qatar” and “Qatar in Quotes”. She is a third-year student at Northwestern, majoring in Media Industries and Technology with a minor in Business. When she’s not excited about social science experiments, she is either telling people about climate change or singing and skipping around!

Hello, my name is Hind Aker, and I am from Canada. I am a junior in Northwestern University in Qatar, and I am majoring in Media and Communications. I love movies, television, and anything thats related to media, and I hope to become a TV presenter one day! :)

Kayan Khraisheh
Kayan Khraisheh is part of the post-production team for the podcast "Qatar in Quotes". She's a junior at Northwestern University in Qatar, pursuing a degree in Communications and a certificate in Strategic Communications. Kayan loves to tell both journalistic and narrative stories through different media, including writing, filmmaking, and social media, and she's super excited to now add a podcast to that list!

Farah AlSharif is part of the Art team for the podcast “Qatar in Quotes.” She is a Journalism and Strategic Communications major at Northwestern. When she’s not feverishly looking at fonts, she spends too much time on TikTok and Spotify trying to kickstart her career as a world famous DJ.

Juyoung is a senior at Northwestern University in Qatar. She grew up in multicultural background as she lived in Australia, China, Korean, Oman and Qatar. Juyoung is an aspiring storyteller who wishes to produce stories that can knit the humanity and challenge conventional thinking through empathy.
Iffah Kitchlew
Iffah is a junior majoring in journalism at Northwestern University in Qatar. She is from Pakistan and has lived in Qatar for the past two years. As a journalist, Iffah is very interested in writing human-interest stories. This is why she is excited to be working on Qatar in Quotes, exploring the heartwarming stories of the people of Qatar.

I’m a Lebanese/ Palestinian Communication Junior at NUQ. I’m extremely interested in the production process of a podcast. Being part of the Art team defines the visual aesthetics our podcast QIQ will follow. I aspire to learn as many languages as possible and what better way to do so than listen to all kinds of podcasts, English, Arabic, korean, and basic french ( currently learning, so fingers crossed)
